Family as Inter-generational FUN:
The center of our vision for youth and family ministry is family. By this we do not necessarily mean the traditional nuclear family - mom, dad and 2.35 children. We mean family in a broader sense. Older grandparents, middle-age moms and dads, single adults, twenty-something older brothers and sisters, teenagers, younger pre-teen children, toddlers, infants and the newly born - all of them caring for one another, learning from another and having fun together. Family means all ages and all types coming together in fellowship.

Each month, a committed group of volunteers
meets to discuss the youth of our congregation in order to find ways to
increase participation in events, and brainstorm "fun" activities for the
youth of our congregation.
Youth and Parents - If you have ideas, we want hear from you! Please write
down your ideas and suggestions and put them in the Youth Ministry Team
mailbox at the information desk at church or e-mail the Youth Ministry Team

YOUTH - Bible Camp is just around the corner for Our 2nd through 9th graders.
If you are in 4th – 9th grade, you have the opportunity to go to Camp Wapo, located near Amery, Wisconsin, from June 9th – 13th. Youth Camp is a week away to spend with friends to share conversations and laughs. It is a time to focus on building relationships as we play, worship, and do cannonballs in the lake. Some things you will do are:Bible Camp Week-end, for 2nd and 3rd graders, will be held June 13th – 15th. This begins at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening and concludes with worship at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Music, Bible study, campfires and recreation weave together to create a warm atmosphere in which children can experience some independence in a caring environment.
If you are interested, registration forms are available in the church office. They are due in the church office by March 15th along with $100 deposit (made out to: First Lutheran Church). There is scholarship money available for each camper. See Pastor Karen or Jean for more info on the camp and scholarships.
Youth Group
Youth Group meetings are being held every
other Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. in the FLY Room at church. Join us for a time of fun and fellowship.
