Mission Jamaica 2014

We are returning to Jamaica in January 2014! Dates are January 4-11, 2014.
Mission Jamaica is a ‘vacation with a purpose’ program that began at St. Andrew’s Church (Mahtomedi) in 1990. Over 35 congregations have partnered in this mission field.
Last January 11 adults from FLC went to Montego Bay, we had profound experiences while serving in meager ways. We felt welcomed by the locals. We were affected by the ‘big picture’ of church community. We laughed, cried, and ate together.
Spots are limited, cost is approx. $2000. Sign-up in the Narthex. More information HERE.

We, the congregation of First Lutheran Church, proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Word and Sacrament, calling people to new life and discipleship. We grow in faith, hope and love as a community of believers through worship, prayer and study. We serve people in need by sharing God's love in our community and throughout the world.
We are part of God’s unfolding plan. When we gather for worship, we connect with believers everywhere. When we study the Bible or hear God’s word in worship, we are drawn more deeply into God’s own saving story.
